Original U.S. WWII US Marine Corps 3rd Type Cross Flap “Dog Ear” Canteen Cover with WWI M1910 Canteen & Cup German Flags 4 cm) circle at 400Original Item: Only One Available. This is an exceptional example of an unused USMC "Rabbit Ears" 3rd Model Canteen Cover. Although the cover has some signs of storage wear, it is in great condition overall and makes for a great display. From 1943 onward, the most noticeable feature added to USMC canteen covers was the "dog ear" crossed flaps. This type of cover has a front seam, typical USMC high mounted wire hooks, but this example does not have the
